Coinciding with Gallery500’s Art of Speed event featuring a luxury and rare sportscar show boasting over 100 entries, Gallery Director Jessica Kennedy, curated a special collection of artworks celebrating the finer things in life. Finer Things features works by Laurie Chase, Thomas Arvid, Paolo Jimenez, Bill Patterson, and Alberto Gomez. Laurie Chases’ calm and serene paintings of boats floating smoothly on calm water recall relaxing sunny days spent on the water, which Thomas Arvid’s celebrated photorealistic wine paintings showcase some of the world’s most exclusive and collected wines. Paolo Jimenez, Bill Patterson and Alberto Gomez each offer a creative approach to painting automobiles, ranging from explosive abstract imagery that flashes across the canvas, to realistic paintings that capture the sheen of car paint and softness of leather in natural light.
