Art on Campus

While working for the Richmond Center of Visual Arts, Jessica spearheaded a new campus art consulting program to place art from the university’s private collection across Western Michigan University facilities.

The mission of the program was to provide additional public exhibition space for the university’s expansive collection, and to freshen campus spaces with new artwork for students and staff alike to enjoy.

Through this program, Jessica successfully placed over 100 pieces of art from the university’s permanent art collection in buildings across the campus including the President’s office, Moore Hall, Ernest Wilbur Building, the Beam Power Plant, Schneider Hall and more. The artwork was hand selected by Jessica, in partnership with Campus staff, to reflect the unique specialisms and themes of each participating department.
